People in the desert in the summer? Who knows. But if I just search "Camping" who knows what I'll get. Like I might search "Winter Camping/Tent Stoves/Hot Tent Camping" as 3 separate searches. When in doubt, I try to search for a topic using at least 3 different terms. "DIY Tomato Trellis" will get you more results than "Farm life" even though many farms grow tomatoes. So when you're curious about an aspect of off grid living, look up terms related to that aspect. But when I wanna know about grey water systems, I search "grey water systems" not "off grid". I've seen off grid mansions that rent for thousands of dollars a night. And once you have a few channels you watch regularly, youtube starts recommending even more. Red Earth Ranch and Green Dream Project come to mind off the top of my head. youtube is an endless source of almost everything we've needed to know so far.
Don't just search "off grid" try things like "homesteading" "van life/van dwelling/van build" gardening topics, building videos. There are tons of off grid youtube channels you just have to think in smaller topics. It's much harder for me to read a book while I'm doing the dishes or walking the dogs. And I can listen to it while I'm doing some other mindless task. It's always in my pocket, tons of subject covered.
